New Pennsylvania Firework Law — No Fireworks after 10:00 pm!

About a month ago, Governor Tom Wolf signed a bill to put more restrictions in place when it comes to setting off fireworks. There are some exceptions to the rule but overall the general idea is that NO fireworks can be set off from 10:00 pm to 10:00 am on days other than the Forth of July and New Years Eve.

The individuals that violate the new Pennsylvania law are subject to a fine of $500.00. More for repeat offenders. Think about it, do you really want to spend that money instead of just waiting until the next day? For more information on the specifics of the bill, read ABC’s coverage here.

Legal Bits

This video is part of our Legal Bit segment on YouTube. We create Legal Bits to share some quick pieces of information about new laws, helpful tips, and easy to understand scenarios to better understand the law.

Each video will has a blog post, like this one, to have an additional overview and links to useful resources. So far you can check out our Toy-Yoda blog that ties into our video about reading your contracts.

Legal Ease

In addition to our Legal Bit segments we also have Legal Ease. There is nothing easy about legal terminology (aka legalese), so we hope that Legal Ease will help breakdown some of the terms and concepts that may not be so easy to understand when you hear it in passing. To see what we mean, watch our first two videos!
