Sarah Lam

Before becoming a lawyer, Sarah Lam was a social worker. She received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Temple University in 2015. She then worked in Florida as a social worker for three years, providing after school and summer care options for families of lesser means.

In 2020, Ms. Lam received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University and joined the firm of Agnant & Lambdin, LLC, where she worked on construction defect, first party property, and community association claims. Ms. Lam served primarily as lead litigator at the firm, handling the firm’s trials and arbitrations.

She moved to Philadelphia in 2023 and joined Kaminsky Law in 2026. She enjoys working with small and growing businesses and helping entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses. Sarah Lam has experience overseeing and managing a large variety of small business, personal injury, and insurance litigation. Her addition to the Kaminsky Law team brings an experienced litigator that is passionate about small business, construction, and condo rights.

Ms. Lam is licensed in Pennsylvania and Florida and continues to represent clients and advise small businesses on contracts, business issues, and litigation under Florida law.

Sarah Lam’s Recent Wins

Tortious Interference: Obtained a verdict on behalf of unit owners in a condominium after their condominium association sued them, alleging tortious interference with contractors. Unit owners were found not liable to the condominium association for any damages.

Failure to Pay Commission: Obtained an arbitration award in favor of an independent contractor working as a public adjuster after his employer terminated him and failed to pay him the commissions he had earned.

Negligence: Negotiated a six figure settlement comprised for a hand sanitizer company whose products were damaged after the sprinklers at the warehouse they were renting burst due to the negligence of the sprinkler company

Construction Defect: Negotiated a six figure settlement for a homeowner whose new custom home was defectively constructed with shoddy workmanship and failure to follow signed and sealed plans.
